I've got more than 15 years of experience in teaching, and I've helped many students to reach new heights in their guitar-performance.
I teach both adults and children, both beginners and more advanced players. In my lessons, the wants and needs of the student are a central element. I help singers who would like to know more about accompanying their voice on the guitar. I help people who want to play a song all by themselves, melody and accompaniment (fingerstyle). And I also help people who want a better understanding of the fretboard of the guitar, or of music in general. I've made two online courses in soundslice, exclusively accessible for my students. On my soundslice page and website, I also share some slices for free.
Making music together is an essential part of my life. I perform regularly with various ensembles.
After I graduated from the Conservatorium of Amsterdam, receiving a masters degree in Jazz Performance, I have performed at various venues both in the Netherlands and Europe. (Muziekgebouw aan 't ij, Nationale Opera & Ballet, Westergasfabriek, De Doelen Rotterdam, Philharmonie Luxembourg).
